Brio Dreamer
« on: July 26, 2017, 12:59:20 am »
Name: Brio Dreamer

Race: Pegasus

Gender: Female

Age:
  20

Physical Description: Brio is a bouncy Pegasus with near limitless energy that often prefers to hover or fly circles around others than walk. A bright smile comes easy to her and her seemingly constant good mood tends to give off pleasant vibes for others with some exaggerating an almost literal glow around her. She doesn’t do much to her naturally wavy black mane aside from tying it off near the end to keep it from going too wild, though the hair near her face is usually left to dangle free however much it wants. Brio usually only carries a single saddlebag on her person as she believes any further clothing to be a hindrance during flight leaving her light brown coat mostly exposed. Some have commented that her vibrant green eyes do a good job of reflecting her zest for life.

Special Talent: She likes to say it’s a talent for dreaming as her name implies, though she’s not actually sure what it’s for. Cutie mark is an almost cartoony star.

Likes: People, places and most things. Brio loves wide open fields of green, meeting new people and learning about what makes them different from others, gaining new experiences through various professions and hobbies and general adventure.

Dislikes: Being cooped up in a building for too long, bland or negative outlooks on life, pessimism, taking advantage of people, censorship of ideas and opinions.

Strengths: Unshakable optimism, great reserves of energy, strong moral code, bravery, acrobatic skills, good flyer, confidence and she’s a pretty good dancer when the music is right. Brio is rarely afraid of others and is willing to defend those who can’t defend themselves. She is also highly adaptable as her inability to commit to a single occupation leads her to gain many skills and her desire to try many new things encourages her to think on her feet.

Weaknesses:
Can be forgetful and easily distracted. Brio’s lack of commitment to a single occupation can give off the impression that she can be professionally unreliable. General attitude and personality can cause some to believe she’s “not all there” as her carefree spirit and general excitement for life can be distracting and prevent focus for the mare. Desire for adventure can lead Brio into dangerous situations as she fails to think of the risks before diving in head first.

Bio: Brio was born into a small coastal village on Equestria’s frontier where she spent most of her childhood getting lost in the nearby woods. “Searching for adventure” was often the excuse she’d give for running off when she finally found her way back home, twigs in her hair and mud on her face much to her parents’ understandable disapproval. It seemed nothing they tried could keep her from getting into some form of trouble and the older she got the more impossible it was to keep her supervised. It eventually reached a point where they simply could not keep up, nothing they tried preventing her from somehow getting loose and causing some sort of ruckus in town. Once early adulthood was reached you may as well have forgotten about it.

Nearing adulthood, Brio earned herself a reputation for being pleasant but unpredictable, the mishaps and occasional silly events causing trouble around the town often times being traced back to her in some way despite her best intentions. The townsfolk didn’t hate her but they would have loved for her to settle down every now and again and relax. Brio refused, always wanting to experience some form of excitement and creating some when lacking. Much to the town’s relief, things grew too boring for Brio when she came of age to live on her own, her opting to take to the road and see the world and whatever it may offer.

Working odd jobs here and there, Brio made her way into central Equestria, spurred on by tales that painted the heart of the country as a hot spot for activity.

Note: Rough for now. Will make better later.
