Applejack grins as she watches everybody depart, lagging behind just a little bit as she makes sure she has everything she needs. There was no need to rush; she already had most of her belongings prepared for the trip ahead. Just had to double check and make sure. Making her way down the hall, she starts her trek home as her thoughts drift in excitement.

"Ok, thanks...?" he says, eventually being left alone in the hallway. Having nothing else to do after handing in his notes, he makes his way outside, many of the students now gone. He decides to camp out at the side of the school. He had already brought most of what he needs. Basic clothes alongside the Camp Everfree shirts, toiletries, as well as a survival kit. He wasn't staying on the grounds the whole week, he had a mission to get information about Everfree, and he wouldn't be able to do it at Camp. His kit contained stuff needed to survive in the wild, a medical kit, firestarting equipment, equipment for a basic shelter, and a survival knife.
Setting up shop at the side of the school, away from prying eyes, Broadshield looks at his phone for the time. 11:18 pm. 'Jeez, already? I need to sleep...' he thinks to himself, lying down in his sleeping bag, eventually drifting off to sleep.

"Any teacher, or staff. It'll get passed through before tomorrow whoever you hand it to. And really I bet you could even hand it in at the bus in the morning, this school is extremely lenient." Brash states.
"Oh! We should stop by that doughnut place before it closes!" Carri pushes Brash forward, and Brash grunts as she allows Carri to put all the work into moving her.

Unlike Broadshield, Octavia appears more shocked at Brash's outbrust. "Well, I better be off. I'll see you all tomorrow." she says, leaving the place shortly before Rainbow Dash does.

Broadshield can't help but be thoroughly confused at the girl's outburst, if anything else. "Ok... moving on. Where exactly do I hand these in?" she asks the two, not really caring about who answers, just as long as he gets his question answered.

"Good idea-" Rainbow manages to say before being cut off by Fluttershy's sudden departure. "Oh jeez, speaking of which, I have training to go to." she says, getting her bag and heading towards the door. "Gotta go AJ. See you tomorrow!" she says, walking out the door, past the others outside. "Excuse me, sorry." she says, pushing past them, and generally ignoring them, as she makes her way to training.

"I guess I can keep it close by then." Fluttershy agreed. Suddenly her phone buzzed and she looked at it and suddenly jumped in the air. "Oh dear. I forgot! I have to volunteer at the animal shelter! I'm late oh no! See you girls bright and early tomorrow!" She began to run down the hall bumping into people and apologizing along the way.

Applejack blinks, almost calling out to the newcomer, but decides against it as she shakes her head and puts her hands on her hips. "I know some schools have nine periods in their day. Somethin' like... Zero hour or somethin'. I'd reckon he might be from one of them, wherever he came from. One of them big cities." She trails off a bit, lost in thought before Fluttershy's voice brought her back to attention. "I'm sure you'll find plenty of feathered n' furry friends, Fluttershy. And just because you have your gem doesn't mean ya have to use it, ya know. You could leave it with one of us or somethin' while you're out explorin'." Applejack shrugs, tapping her boots together in thought as she listens to Rainbow Dash. "Ya know, that's a mighty fine point ya got there, Dash. Now, I ain't no expert on magic, but it seems it just kinda... happens. Even before we got these here gems. If ya'll are worried about wearin' them, I'd keep them close by... Just in case."

Carri steps in to receive the spare papers as Brash turns back with an accusing finger, "I don't have to explain myself to either of you!" She grunts, "My father demands that I attend these ridiculous social events, but I'd much rather continue my studies."
Carri doesn't seem to notice Brash's outburst as she tucks the papers away into her backpack, "It's gonna be tons of fun, me and Brash are gonna ask if we can build a tree house for the camp gift."

"I see, I didn't think you were one to go on camps like this." she says, thinking back to the Broadshield she knew from around school. That Broadshield always seemed to keep to himself, a bit of a nerd in terms of military knowledge and pop culture, but not one to go out on camps unless he had to. This Broadshield was so different, seemingly more confident. Maybe there was a change that she didn't know about? She turns to the other two, letting them all talk it out, before Broadshield asks Brash her reasoning for not participating. "Yeah, why would you ever want to miss out on camp? You're there for one reason or another, you may as well enjoy your time there." she says to her, a look of concern on her face.

While Broadshield is looking at the poster, he suddenly finds himself surrounded by three others he doesn't really know. Only one of them is vaguely familiar to him. Doing a quick once-over of the three, he notices what he thinks are the cutie marks of the three somewhere on their clothes. He only recognizes one, that being Octavia's. "Uh, yeah, I was thinking of going this year. I just thought since there's so many po-" he says, catching himself at the end there. 'Whoops, nearly said pony there. Its people, now, just act like it never happened.' he thinks to himself before resuming "Sorry, people. I just thought since there are so many people talking about it, I might as well see what its all about." he says to Octavia. Simple lie, he had other reasons, but no one needed to know that. He turns to the two younger looking students as one of them gives him a bunch of registration forms. "I'll only need one thanks." he says, handing the spares back. "Wait, why do you want to skip out on activities? Don't you want to go to camp?" he asks.

Rainbow just listens to the group up until the new guy leaves. As he leaves, she notices the four outside. She recognizes the two that were in class before, as well as the cellist Octavia, but the last guy she doesn't know. "I'd say he's just new, nothing about magic." she remarks in regards to the new guy. "Back to camp, I can't wait to do some more sports there. I never got a chance to play against anyone at tetherball, and archery, and... huh, I guess I really didn't do many of the activities last time..." she realizes. "I don't want to bring the gem to camp this time around in case something happens because of it, but I do want to bring it in case there is an emergency... What do you think AJ?" she says, playing around with the gem now tied around her neck.

"Does he realize that it's the end of the day? He must be a new student..." Fluttershy softly responded as she step[ed out from behind Rainbow Dash."I guess you wierded him out with the talk of magic if he's new here." After she took a second to watch him walk away she returned her attention to the group and brought up the camp again. She had a small, excited smile on her face. "I am going to be apart of a few silent nature walks. I already made a scavenger hunt for myself to see what kind of birds I can find. But with this it would be easy." She again played with the gem around her neck. "If it's alright with you guys... I might leave it at home..."

Getting slightly confused about the mention of the dock and 'exploding sprinkles,' Foxtrot decides to just leave it be and nods. "Wow, sounds like fun. It's been a while since I've had an outdoor experience. I'll be sure to fill out the necessary papers to sign up." His eyes wander over to the clock, catching the time. "Hey uh, I gotta go finds my next class. Thanks for the info about the trip." With a nod and light wave he makes his exit. Off to the next class, if he finds it on time, that is.

"I know, I know, another test..." Applejack rolls her eyes, teasing Rainbow Dash as she crosses her arms with a smirk and leans gently off to one side. "It's an easy one, sugarcube. And if ya want to be mah partner like last year, promise me you'll at least read through the chapter. We ain't gonna have a repeat of last year with the whole missin' eyebrows bit right before our annual school picture." She chuckles, teasing again as she playfully slugs Dash across the shoulder.
"Naw, it won't be as crazy as the last time, I'd reckon. Heck, I'll be helpin' with all the cookouts this time. It'll be smooooth sailin'."
Applejack pauses as Foxtrot approaches the group. A fresh face, but certainly more than welcome. She nods and tips her hat in greeting, letting Rainbow Dash answer his question. The mention of the dock made her frown a bit, almost instinctively reaching up to touch her own gemstone just to make sure it was still there. "Three times is two times too many. Of course, there ain't much you can do about a wayward boat and... explody... sprinkles." She shakes her head, dismissing her own thoughts with a shrug. "That just ain't natural."

"You should," Brash adds in for Octavia as she approaches. "The more students there, the less any adults might notice if I skip out on activities."
As Brash stops near the two, Carri, who always sticks close behind, nearly runs into her. Having to stop so quickly with her heavy backpack causes her to lose balance and she falls to her rump. "Ow..."
"In fact, you should invite all of your qualified contacts to the event." Brash walks around to Carri's backpack, digs into it and pulls out some papers. "Good thing Carri got extra sign-up forms."
"I was going to give those to my friends." Carri says as she gets back on her feet.
Brash hands the forms to Broadshield but still talks to Carri, "How many friends do you think you have?"
Carri gives a quizzical look, "Well there's you ...and everybody else!" She responds with a smile.
Brash groans at that and turns away from the two, ready to leave.

With the bell ringing to signify the end of the period, Octavia packs her books into her bag and takes them to her locker in the science corridor. On her way there, she continues to hear students talking about the upcoming trip to Camp Everfree. "I can't wait to go back there, hopefully this time nothing 'extreme' pops up like last time..." she thinks to herself, reminiscing on the events that occurred last time as she puts her books away. As she closes her locker, she notices Broadshield eyeing the Camp Everfree poster. "Hello Broad, you thinking of going this year?" she asks.

Broadshield emerged from the statue right as the bell rang. Broadshield blinked his eyes a few times and steadied himself in his new form as he tried to adjust to his new surroundings. 'Alright, you know the mission. Get to Camp Everfree and study the strange magical occurrences there that have been affecting our world, and learn more about this world in the process, then report back to Celestia. I can do this.' he thought to himself as he made his way inside. He had been assured that his presence wouldn't go questioned as the Broadshield of this world was away, meaning that he can go in, do what he needs to do and get out without raising suspicion. Before he goes inside, he looks at his reflection in the door. He's wearing a black leather jacket on top of a light grey hoodie, wearing a simple grey shirt underneath. He's also wearing navy coloured jeans and simple red sneakers. Looking at his jacket, he notices on his left shoulder the familiar Equinox patch, and on the right, his cutie mark.
Making his way inside, very few of the students really acknowledge his presence, the ones that do give a simple glance, some saying "Hey" before moving on. 'I wonder what the Broadshield of this world is like...' Broadshield thinks to himself as he wanders the corridors. Eventually he finds himself in the science corridor next to a still open classroom where there are still four students inside. Ignoring them, he focuses on a poster advertising Camp Everfree commencing shortly. 'This is it, this is how I get to Camp Everfree, only question now is who to talk to to ensure I get there...' he thinks to himself as he continues to look at the poster.

Rainbow watches as Applejack joins their group. Now all they needed were Rarity, Pinkie, Sunset, and Twilight, but they were all in different classes, so it was unlikely that they would see each other until later. She also watches as other students make their way out of class, especially the two, Brash and Carri, if she was right. She didn't know them personally, but there was something about them that set them apart from other pairs, whether it be siblings or friends.
"Wait, ANOTHER test after Camp? That sucks..." she mumbles to herself. "Oh well, we'll worry about that later. Now, all I care about is Camp Everfree. Hopefully it won't be as crazy as last time." she says, her mind going back to the crazy events of that camp, soon finding herself playing with the gemstone that she got from the event, a reminder of what happened, as well as a symbol of the power of friendship that she and her friends now hold.
She soon notices another student make his way towards them. It was the guy that came in late to class. "As a matter of fact, there is. Its called Camp Everfree, and its a really fun, week long camp. The counselors there let you do whatever you want with little restriction. They have a bunch of stuff that you can do there. Other than that, its pretty much your general summer camp. Campfires, singalongs, events, the list goes on. Every year, the campers always make something as a reminder of their time there, and to be used by future campers. Last time, we built a dock three times." she said, chuckling to herself at that last part.

"I probably will be too exhausted to even study." Fluttershy looked at Applejack before nodding. "I'm so excited to go back. Hopefully this time there won't be any crazy monsters or demons. Maybe we should leave our elements at home... To really just make sure this is a magic-less trip." When Fox approached she shy'd away behind Rainbow Dash and let someone else answer.

Foxtrot holds back as the bell rings, noting down the teachers assignment to pass on to Nivalia. He's the last one out, sticking more to the sides of the hallway. Pulling out his schedule, he pins down the next class and stows it away. That's when he hears about Camp Everfree. A trip to the wilderness? Away from the crowds of kids here in the school? It certainly draws him over to the three girls with some curiosity. "Uh, excuse me. Not trying to eavesdrop or anything but... does this school have like, an after-school camp program or something?"

Applejack glances over at Brash when she stands up and yawns, taking that as her own cue to start tossing her various belongings inside her bag. Not but a moment later, the bell rings, prompting a wave of students to start piling out the door. Right on time... She doesn't know how Brash does it, but it always provided a small sense of amusement when the teacher gets interrupted by the bell. Applejack slings her bag across her shoulder, cutting quickly across the room to retrieve her hat before joining Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash.
"Hey y'all~" Applejack beams, donning her hat as she tugs it down nice and snug. The teacher was saying something about reading chapter 4- lab safety. And something about another test... "Aw, now that just ain't fair. We just got done takin' one, and now we gotta do another one after the trip?" She frowns, but quickly perks back up. "Speaking of the trip, are y'all ready? I hear there are some mighty fine treats that grow there. Plus..." Applejack pauses and glances around the room, albeit at nothing in particular. "I think it would do us some good to get away from all the chaos."

Brash yawns, stands up, and stretches seconds before the bell rings. She timed it perfectly often enough that the teacher knew not to say anything less she be drowned out by the bell. Groaning in realization that every bell signified another wasted hour in this terrible place, she waits alongside her desk as Carri turns in her paper to the teacher.
Carri returns to her desk and picks up her heavy backpack, filled to the brim with books, it wasn't that she had any plans for them at the moment, just that she didn't remember her locker combination. On top of that, Brash also stores her books in Carri's backpack, seeing as they never stray far apart from each other. She sets the backpack on her desk as Brash approaches to stuff her own things inside.
They begin their way out, Brash in the lead. "Ugh, can't believe I have to go to that camp, if they don't let me bring my notebooks and sit in a tent all day it's going to be so-"
"Fun!" Carri interrupts as they are clear from the desks, "Oh, I can't wait!" Carri hugs Brash from behind, lifting her up and doing a twirl before setting her down. Brash visibly holds back a fit of rage as she tries to act like that didn't happen and stomps her way forward.

The clock seemed to tick slower and slower as it neared the end of the period, feeling as though time was being dragged through syrup. Finally, the bell rung, snapping Rainbow out of her watch. She packed away whatever she had lying around made her way to where Fluttershy was, ignoring whatever the teacher was saying. "Well, that's another test done and failed... I'm sure you did better than me, huh Fluttershy?" she said, watching students make their way out of class.

The bell rung and Fluttershy gathered her things and waited for Dashie and Applejack to catch up before leaving the class. She didn't even hear what the teacher was reminding them to do after their small break. "I hope I wasn't the only one too distracted by how amazing Camp Everfree will be... I hope I passed the test. I can't imagine failing that. Though I did try to study... Before my animals started talking to me." She observed the gem around her neck.

Rainbow made little progress on the test since giving Fluttershy her water bottle. But she was determined to push on. She finally got up to the last question before looking up at the clock. 'Oh jeez, 5 minutes left!?!?' she thinks to herself, rushing through the last question, finally handing her test in with a minute to go before sitting back down on her seat. 'Well, add that to the list of failed tests...' she thinks to herself as she watches the clock.

Applejack hummed to herself quietly in thought, mindlessly chewing on the end of her pencil as she looked the test over in its entirety before answering any questions. The header on the front page of the test prompted,
"Science 102: The Basics. Please read each question thoroughly from beginning to end and follow all directions. Open ended questions must be written neatly and completely. Answer to the best of your ability. You have until the end of the class period to complete this exam."
The phrase beginning to end caught her eye. Teachers would sometimes trick their own students with a deliberate prompt like that. While most students would gladly scratch away with their pencils and brains, there would be one question, somewhere near the end, that would prompt students to simply turn in their test without answering any of the questions. Applejack, however, was unfamiliar with most of her teachers so early in the year, but hey... There was always that chance.
She skimmed through each page, reading each question carefully before coming to a conclusion with a solid frown. This was a real test... Oh well, she thought, returning to the beginning as she started to answer the questions. Science wasn't Applejack's best subject, leaning more towards history, or athletics like Dash, but she did study. Most of the questions came easily, fully concentrated as she blows past the multiple choice and fill-in-the-blank sections. Not even Foxtrot's unanticipated entrance, nor Fluttershy's sudden squeak caused her to lose focus. Having a miniature megaphone as a little sister seemed to improve Applejack's focus, after all.
The writing portion, however, broke her stride. She tapped her boots together in thought, reaching up to pull her hat down-- oh right... It was hanging up by the door. Applejack frowned, shaking her head as she returned to the test. The questions weren't necessarily hard, but she found it difficult to answer something through writing. Flowery language and MLA formatting just wasn't her thing. She looked up at the clock for the first time since sitting down, reading a little after half-hour. Shucks, she thought, scribbling her answers down as quickly as she could before standing up to turn her paper in, just moments after Fluttershy.
Now, she can relax, staring up at the ceiling as her mind wandered elsewhere for the moment.

"Thanks Rainbow Dash." Fluttershy softly responded after quickly returning to her test. When she saw Fox hand in his paper her jaw almost dropped. Did he even fill anything out? Theres no way he could've... Focus on yourself Fluttershy. She chugged through the rest of the test before standing up as well and handing it in and returning to her seat. The day was almost over.

Before he knew it, Fox was finishing up the last essay question. While he understood and answered most of them to the best of his ability, he did add some filler just in case. With the last question answered, he heads up and submits his test. On the way back to his seat, he does get a few looks from his classmates. Still, he pays them no mind, sits down, and doodles.

Well, there was a pretty good chance that at this rate Dash wouldn't finish the test. Foxtrot's entrance certainly didn't help matters as she struggled to get back on course. She was starting to get back to the question she was on before she heard the sloshing of water coming from Fluttershy's water bottle rolling towards her. She simply kicked it up with her foot into her hand and passed it over to Fluttershy, before noticing that the teacher was looking at her again sternly. She was quite a favorite for the teachers to glare at wasn't she? "Sorry teach, just giving back her water bottle, no biggie." she said, going back to her test, not really taking notice in the other students.

Fluttershy’s eyes followed the new student who came in and saw him get to work quickly. She in the meantime was finished with 3 out of the 5 open ended. The last two were hard and she couldn’t figure it out. She also was pretty impressed by her written response. She began to work through more questions that she didn’t understand before she got a bit thirsty. She rooted through the sides of her bag to grab a bottle.
“Fluttershy what are you looking for?” The teacher suddenly spoke up looking right at her.
The student give a small scream and jumped causing her to drop the bottle as it rolled over by Rainbow Dash. “Im sorry… It is just my water bottle… I’m sorry… I should’ve taken it out before….” She was getting quieter with every word and eventually stopped talking when the teacher nodded.

Brash, having already finished the exam before they were even done being passed out, stares out the window, dreading the future trip to Camp Everfree. Her father would not allow her to skip on any social event, seeing that her only reason for still being in school regardless of her intellect was to network with her peers, which had so far gone horribly... except with Carri Air.
Carri Air occasionally tilts her head as she looks over the exam paper, seeming to not even know how to read it until she puts her pencil to the paper for a moment then lifts it, checking to be absolutely sure her answer is right. Fortunately she receives extra time for her tests after school.
The arrival of Foxtrot doesn't disturb Brash's plotting, though it does thoroughly distract Carri who makes sure to pay attention to every word the teacher says at any time.

After being dropped off, Fox heads inside and pulls out his schedule. "Alright, looks like I have science class right now. Room... 206." Although it's his first time there, it doesn't take him long to find his destination. Slowly opening the door, he steps in to realize the bad timing he just has.
"Excuse me, who are you?" the teacher asks as a majority of the students all look to him.
"Oh, uh I'm here for Science 102. Is this the right room? "
"It is." The mentor answers, looking at his attendance board. "You must be Foxtrot. You do know that you're late?"
"I do." Foxtrot replies as he closes the door behind him. While some students return to their tests, most still keep their eyes on them. "Sorry about that. My ride got into a fender bender on the way here."
"I see. Well, take a test and find a seat. I'll allow a few extra minutes for you to catch up."
Foxtrot nods and takes an exam. "Thanks." Looking around, he finds an empty seat next to a girl with rainbow style hair. Once he sets everything down, he begins. Within minutes he fills out 40% of the test. Must of the material he's either learned in his previous school, or by watching the science channel. 'I probably won't need the extra minutes if this is what's on the exam.'

Upon starting the test, Rainbow started to go through each question. Soon enough though, she realized that she had absolutely no idea what she was doing, mainly because science wasn't something she was particularly good at compared to PE, and she had been so busy preparing for heading off to Camp Everfree that she didn't bother studying. She'd be a liar if she said she wasn't excited to go. All of the fun activities that they could do over the course of a week or so. She was then snapped back to reality when she realized the teacher was staring at her daydreaming. "Oh, heh, sorry." she said before going back to the questions and answering them, well, answering as much as she could as she waited for the test to conclude.

"You may begin." The teacher announced. After pacing a bit looked at one particular student. "Fluttershy... that includes you too."
The wondercolt student was busy staring out the window when suddenly being called out made her jump dropping her pencil. "Oh!... I'm sorry." She hid behind her hair blushing when the attention of the class was on her.
After the students returned their gazes to their own tests, Fluttershy picked her pencil up quickly and began staring at her test. She began filling out the questions she knew right away. Science was tough, but she did try and study.... Even though she probably could have been more prepared if she wasn't busy talking to her animals and dreaming about the next trip to Camp Everfree which was TOMORROW. She was so excited. The nature walks! The birdwatching! The animals she would see again! This was going to be so fun... Unfortunately, she was brought back into reality. There was a test in front of her and at least an hour between now and the bell. Fluttershy ran her hands through her hair and tried reasoning through the rest of the test biting her lip. Occasionally looking up at the clock, which wasn't going any faster.
