Goldie climbed a bit higher, trying to see the metal bird again. And soon she spotted it flying above another junk pile, but it seemed to be heading her way. Quickly looking around her, Goldie spotted a metal bowl, big enough for her purpose. She didn't know what the flying thing was, and wouldn't risk it being dangerous and poky. Better get something metallic between the two when the clash would begin. Goldie crouched a little, readying herself to pounce and attempt to capture the flying thing as it came closer.
There it was, right above her, making some weird chirps. Did it know what Goldie was up to? She prepared herself, it would be now or never. But just as she was about to jump after the bird, something popped out of the mountain of junk. It was... Another pony? Goldie blinked, getting up from her crouch, as she just stared at the new arrival, who seemed to be weirdly comfortable under all the stuff they were currently buried in. Goldie wasn't sure if she should have tried to reach for something heavy and blunt, but it was too late, as the head turned to look at her, And... Greeted her.
"Uhm... Hi...?" Goldie replied back, a bit unsure. She looked up as the metal bird landed on the green pony's head, and also seemed to greet her. Darn it, it wasn't discarded piece of junk after all. Goldie's attention snapped back to Hay as he spoke again. The brown mare could only blink in confusion, as following the green pony's question, he then seemed to just rise through the junk, as if it was nothing. After the other pony was free, Goldie gave a slow answer of "Pick and choose..." She then shook her head a little, to clear it from what she just witnessed.
Goldie looked down at the metal bowl she was still holding in her magic, giving a nervous grin as she tossed it behind her, and gave it a kick to send it flying even futher away. That little plan did not need to be brought up with the apparent owner of the bird Goldie was trying to catch. "Gravity spinner what?" Goldie asked "The best thing i've found so far is a newish toaster." She then looked at the green pony "You built it? Does that mean you tossed it away?" Goldie began to look around, a gleam in her eyes. She didn't know what the spinning flip flop was, but from the slight description alone she knew she had to get to crack one open, and see how it worked. Finders keepers and all that, rules of the junk yard. At least when you're there alone
"Who were you again?" Goldie turned to the green pony again. If this pony was building crazy sounding things, that seemingly proved lot's of ponies wrong, surely she should have heard about him?
